Helping Mommy With Laundry.

I was folding clothes and putting them away and I had to leave the room for no longer than 45 seconds...upon my return, Effie had almost half the drawer emptied out. It was so funny! I'm sure once she does this a few more times I won't think it's very funny...but for now, it was funny.

A new toy...

Effie got a new toy. It's a little buggy and she loves it! When I took her for a walk in the new buggy she couldn't take her eyes off the ground! It was like it was a whole new world for her. She is so low to the ground and she loved it!

Fun in the DIRT!!!!

We all went on a family dirt trip. Although I am not fond of camping, especially in dirt...we all had a very nice time. I wasn't able to go on the quads because of my back pain, but Effie and Gabe sure had a blast! It was a great time with family! It was Gabe's birthday while we were out there and I made him a 4 layer fluffy strawberry cake...per his request.Sleep baby girl.

Play Time With Iris!

Effie loves to play with her cousin Iris. They are old enough now where they actually interact with each other. It is so cute.

Finally!!! A HAPPY Effie Spider!!!

After all the tears poor Effie shed in her spider Halloween costume, she finally cracked a smile! We went to visit our friends Margo and Steve on Halloween and had a wonderful time...even Effie did!!

We had fun carving our pumpkin...the day before Halloween, but at least we got it done. We all had a lot of fun!

A swing in the park.

Effie and I went to the park, this is the first time she has been on the swing. She was way too small for the swing...you could have fit about 3 Effie's in this swing! More than anything, she just wanted to watch all the other kids play. I couldn't even get her to look at me for a picture!

Disco Barbie.

Chelsea (my youngest of 5 sisters) wanted to be Disco Barbie for Halloween and she wanted her own fro...soooo, I thought long and hard and figured out a way to make a fro out of her own hair. I think it looked a lot better in person. The first few pictures are the test run we did a few days before Halloween, then the last of the pictures are her on Halloween. From start to finish, the fro took about 4 hours to complete.

Our baby is growing up...TOO FAST!!!

First crawling, now standing? Can you believe that Effie is standing now? She pulls herself up on EVERYTHING! She doesn't stand on her own, she needs something to hold onto. She also walks around while she's holding the furniture. I can't believe how fast she is growing up! It makes me sad...but it also makes me happy. I am glad she is developing, but I miss holding that little newborn baby girl.
